  • Encourage support and understanding for people in military service.
  • Promote compassion for those who suffer the consequences of armed conflict.
  • Challenge restrictions on civil liberties.
  • Highlight alternatives to war as a way to resolve conflict.
  • Support efforts to resolve conflicts between nations through global community.
  • Provide opportunities for healing for people who are experiencing pain and grief in response to the current world situation.
